Frequently asked questions
Straight answers on custom quotes, free AI design, minimum order quantities, materials, lead times, proof approval, our manufacturing network, and how to prep files — the questions that come up before a first production run.
All questions
- How do I get pricing?
- Share your project details — product type, dimensions, quantities, materials, finishes, and timeline — along with contact info, then request a custom quote. Our packaging specialists review the full brief and follow up with a tailored quote. For stock Wrapid carton dielines the studio can show a clearly labeled estimate — final pricing is always confirmed by a specialist before you pay. Freight is additional and quoted separately.
- Is the design studio free?
- Yes. Free AI design and expert ideation support are available in the studio with no account fee. You use the tool to design and qualify the project; you only move into production after you accept a custom quote prepared by our team.
- What's the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
- Most standard jobs start around 1,000 units per SKU across folding cartons, labels, and mylar bags. Multiple SKUs can often be ganged on one press sheet. NFC smart cartons start at 10,500 units per SKU. Exact MOQ and economics are confirmed in your custom quote.
- What materials and finishes are available?
- Folding cartons: white SBS, silver foilboard, and rainbow holographic stock, with matte, soft-touch, or semi-gloss AQ, spot/raised gloss UV, and reticulation UV — foil and embossing by custom quote. Labels: roll labels on white or silver BOPP, matte, glossy, or matte with spot gloss UV, die-cut to any size. Mylar bags: high-barrier foil laminate in matte, soft-touch, or glossy. Full specs are on each product page.
- How long does production take?
- Standard runs are typically 10–15 business days from proof approval to ship across all three products. That clock starts when you approve the digital proof. Timeline for your specific job is confirmed when specialists prepare your custom quote.
- How does proof approval work?
- After design and project details are locked, we generate a digital proof reflecting your dieline, stock, and finish. Production does not start until you approve it. If something is off — color, layout, die shape — you flag it before it hits the press.
- Who manufactures the packaging?
- Orders are manufactured by our vetted production network. Wrapid manages design, project intake and coordination end to end, then routes work to the right production partners for the job.
- Do I need print-ready artwork to start?
- No. Upload artwork or a dieline you already have, or start with a blank Wrapid dieline. You can explore the package and request a quote while the concept is still developing. If you already have production artwork, upload it for review. If your files need preparation, you may provide revised files or ask Wrapid to prepare them for an additional artwork fee. We provide a final production proof for approval before printing. If AI-generated art is submitted and needs to be recreated for print, an additional art fee will be quoted and approved before work begins. - Do you offer NFC smart packaging?
- Yes, on folding cartons. A programmable NFC chip is embedded inside the carton so shoppers can tap for authentication, reorders, promos, or product stories. NFC has a minimum of 10,500 units per SKU and is always priced as a custom quote.
- What if I'm switching from another packaging supplier?
- Bring your current specs — dieline dimensions, stock, die shape for labels, or bag format — into the studio, or talk to a team member. We match structure where possible so existing filling or application equipment still fits, then prepare a custom quote through our manufacturing network.
- Is there a design fee or account minimum?
- No design fee and no account minimum to use free AI design and ideation. You only proceed to production after our specialists prepare a custom quote and you choose to move forward.
