Folding Cartons
Folding cartons are die-cut, scored paperboard boxes that fold flat for shipping and pop into shape at fulfillment. On Wrapid you design them free with AI on a live 3D dieline in white SBS, silver foilboard, or rainbow holographic stock, then share project details so our packaging specialists prepare a custom quote through our vetted manufacturing network.
Folding cartons are the standard retail box format for cosmetics, supplements, food, electronics accessories, and subscription boxes. Wrapid is an AI-powered design studio: you build the dieline and artwork in the browser with free design and ideation support, capture dimensions, quantities, materials, finishes, and timeline, then request a custom quote. Our specialists review the full project and follow up with a tailored quote — production runs through our vetted manufacturing network, not a single named vendor.

Cosmetics and skincare
Soft-touch AQ with spot UV logo treatment is a common premium look for skincare and cosmetics launches — it reads well under retail lighting without requiring a foil pass.
Supplements and food
White SBS with a gloss or matte AQ holds nutrition-panel text sharp at small point sizes, which matters for FDA-facing supplement and food labeling.
Electronics accessories and subscription boxes
Silver foilboard or rainbow holographic stock gives an unboxing moment without a separate foil-stamping pass — a strong option when you want shelf presence at mid-run quantities.
Folding Cartons FAQ
- What's the minimum order quantity for folding cartons?
- Most standard carton jobs start around 1,000 units per SKU. If you're launching multiple flavors, colorways, or sizes, ganging them on one press sheet can improve economics — your packaging specialists will confirm MOQ and options in the custom quote.
- What paperboard options do you offer?
- White SBS in 18pt–24pt calipers, silver foilboard, and rainbow holographic stock. SBS is the standard choice for print clarity and cost; foilboard and holographic stock add shelf presence without a separate foil-stamping step.
- Can I get soft-touch or spot UV finishing?
- Yes. Soft-touch (matte) and gloss AQ, spot and raised UV, foil stamping, embossing/debossing, and reticulation are all available. Specify finishes in the studio; they are reflected in the custom quote our team prepares.
- How long does a folding carton run take?
- Standard runs are typically 10–15 business days from proof approval to ship. The clock starts after you approve the digital proof; specialists confirm timeline when they prepare your tailored quote.
- Do I need print-ready artwork to start?
- No. Upload artwork or a dieline you already have, or start with a blank Wrapid dieline. You can explore the package and request a quote while the concept is still developing. If you already have production artwork, upload it for review. If your files need preparation, you may provide revised files or ask Wrapid to prepare them for an additional artwork fee. We provide a final production proof for approval before printing.
